Dr. Britt Culver
Dr. Britt Culver is a Wyoming native and attended the University of Wyoming for his undergraduate training. He then graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He pursued advanced training in internal medicine, spending one year at Purdue University and three years at Virginia Tech. He is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine as a small animal internal medicine specialist. After his residency in 1996, he and his wife moved to Helena, Montana and opened Montana Veterinary Specialists and General Care. In addition to small animal internal medicine, Dr. Culver also has a special interest in oncology and ultrasound. Since the fall of 2011, he has also been employed by Abaxis Veterinary Reference Laboratory as an internal medicine consultant.
In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Culver loves to spend time with his family. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors, whether that be on a golf course or in the mountains.
Dr. Brenda Culver
Dr. Brenda Culver is an Alaska native. She is a graduate of Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She spent an additional year at Purdue University in advanced training in small animal medicine and surgery. She has a strong interest in ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology.
In addition to Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Brenda enjoys spending time with her family. She loves spending time outdoors in nature and is an avid tennis player.
Dr. Maggie Weber
Dr. Maggie started with MVS in 2018. She graduated from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. She practiced in Washington Stare in emergency medicine for 20 years before moving to Montana & going into general practice in 2002. At one time she and her husband had 10 blue heelers & 6 cats. Never again! She enjoys riding ATV’s, kayaking, floating rivers/lakes & BBQ.
Dr. Molly Maddock
Dr. Molly Maddock is a Washington native and attended Washington State University for her undergraduate training. Having family heritage in Ireland, she traveled across the pond to Dublin Ireland and graduated from University College of Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine. There she learned to care for all creatures, big and small. She found a passion in small animal medicine and surgery. She joined MVS in November 2021 and has fallen in love with the big sky of Montana and all the wonderful people she’s met here.
In her offtime, Dr Molly enjoys the outdoors, and making her new Montana home her dream sheep farm.
Emma started with MVS shortly after moving here from New Zealand in 2007. When she’s not at MVS she is running her husband’s trucking company & raising their 3 boys. She enjoys travel, reading, gardening, fostering for the Humane Society & her ever-varied animal menagerie which includes dogs, cats, hamsters and other small critters.
Kara started with MVS in 2015 but has been a vet tech since 2008. She has attended and completed many CE courses over the years including Radiology, Oncology, Dental & Nutrition. She lived in Alaska for a couple of years and in that time was able to experience traveling to many different Alaskan Islands to assist in veterinary care of many different animals. When she’s not working she enjoys hanging out with her husband, 2 dogs & 2 cats. She also enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, fishing & folfing.
Steph’s connection to MVS goes back to her childhood, but she joined us as a full-time employee in 2017. She has a Bachelor’s Degree of Animal Science from Montana State University and has worked on sheep & goat farms. She is currently working towards her vet tech certification. She has 2 dogs & 1 cat. She is Helena raised & enjoys hiking, four wheeling, boating and other outdoor activities.
Victoria joined MVS in 2021. She grew up in California and moved to Helena, where she fell in love with the people and the scenery. Victoria is a pet parent to 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 horses. When she is not working she enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family.
Zoey started working at MVS in the fall of 2021. She has a particular fondness for working with animals. She especially loves spending quality time with her mutt that she refers to as “Baby Wrekk.” She loves to go hiking and explore Montana’s great outdoors, especially with a camera in one hand and paw in the other.
